How Does the Procedure Works?
The procedure is simple and straightforward taking less than an hour. The procedure is done in office under local anesthesia with almost no downtime.
The anatomy of the penis is interesting in that there is a “potential space” in the shaft of the penis located just beneath the skin but above the tunica albuginea (the fibrous layer surrounding the erectile chambers). This space is an ideal location for the injection of filler. This space has two advantages. First, it allows for the even distribution of the filler, resulting in a uniform increase in girth. Second, this space and the tunica albuginea prevent any harm or damage to vital nerves, blood vessels and structures of the penis.
