2. Surgical
Unlike shaft augmentation there is no surgical option for the glans. In fact, men who have had a penile implant (cosmetic and functional implant) often look for options to enlarge the glans for three reasons. The Glans Enlargement Procedure
Pre-Procedure
After your initial consultation with Dr. Sullivan, a topical numbing cream is applied to the glans. The topical is more effective on the glans as compared to the shaft so no injectable numbing is used.
Procedure
Using a fine needle Vollure is injected into the base of the glans at the level of the dermis. In most cases only one syringe is used per session to ensure a safe enlargement. Most men will require at least 2-3 syringes to see a significant increase in the size of the glans so enlargement will require more than one session.
Post-Procedure
You will receive instructions on caring for the treated area. You will clean it with an antibacterial soap and apply a topical antibiotic for a week. We ask you to avoid sex for two weeks.

Duration
Vollure injections lasts between 12 to 18 months when injected into the nasolabial lines of the face. The glans is a more metabolically active so the Vollure will not last as long here.

Sensitivity
