Dermal Fillers for Girth Enhancement

Dermal fillers are injectable substances, he most commonly used fillers for this purpose include Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). These filles either add volume either by mimicking natural substances found in the body (HA) or by inducing your body to create collagen (PMMA).  Most current fillers are FDA approved for treatment areas in the face so that is where tey have been studies and  the knowledge that we have about how long they last comes from studies of treatment in these areas. However, it is reasonable to assume that the fillers will last approximately the same amount of time when injected into the penis.

GMG Fillers

Voluma

Voluma is a hyaluronic acid-based filler. HA is found naturally in your skin and HA fillers are approved for treatment in many areas of the face and body. At GMG we are using it off-label for penile girth enhancement. In clinical trials Voluma was shown to last at least 2 years. That means that both patients and evaluating physicians felt Voluma was still present at the two-year mark. This is why we believe Voluma will last at least two years but potentially much longer when used for male enhancement.  Voluma is different from other HA’s on the market as it uses Vycross technology, which cross-links the HA molecules slowing their breakdown by the body.

Patients often want to know what happens as the Voluma is broken down. contribute to its long-lasting effects. With time your body slowly breaks down the Voluma into sugar and water. This is what makes HA fillers so safe. Additionally Voluma can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase so it is completely reversable giving another layer of safety.

Volux

Volux is also a hyaluronic acid-based filler. Volux has a higher g Prime as compared to Volux, so it has a firmer feel. It is currently approved for jaw augmentation but at GMG we are using it off-label for penile girth enhancement. As Volux is produced with the same Vycross technology as Voluma we believe it will last at least two years but potentially much longer when used for male enhancement.  It may even last longer than Voluma. Like Voluma, Volux is broken down into sugar and water over time and like Voluma it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase so it is completely reversable giving again increasing safety.

Bellafill

Bellafill is a long-lasting filler composed of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres suspended in a collagen gel. At injection the collagen gives immediate results but over a 4-6 month this collagen is broken down exposing the PMMA microspheres. The PMMA induces the body to produce its own collagen so Bellafill is considered a bio-stimulatory filler. So it provides immediate volume and then stimulates the body’s natural collagen production, leading to long-lasting results. In clinical trials Bellafill was followed for 5 years and results were still present at that time. Based on these trials we can tell you that results last at least five year.

The Other Guys

While GetMoreGirth uses the longest-lasting fillers, Voluma, Volux and Bellafill, the other guys use fillers that do not offer the same duration of results. Why? Because they are less expensive. At GMG we think it is worth it to use a slightly more expensive filler so your enhancement lasts longer, and in the the long run it saves you money. So lets talk about the fillers the other guys use.

Versa

Versa is a hyaluronic acid-based filler. Versa typically lasts around 6-12 months. Compare that to the 2 years or more with Voluma.  

Restylane (Defyne or Lift)

Restylane Defyne is also a hyaluronic acid-based filler. Restylane fillers generally last about 12 months. Again, compare that to Voluma, Volux or Bellafill.

Before you select a provider one of the most important questions you can ask is what fillers you use. It’s an easy question. It should be a big red flag if you can’t get a straight answer.
